25 years in public health data and technology
Founder Adam Meehan started his public health career in 1999 at International Diabetes Institute (now Baker IDI) as Data Manager and Developer for the AusDiab national diabetes and obesity study. Later at Monash University he established and managed the data management centre for CCRE in Therapeutics and lectured in Clinical Data Management.
Motivated to develop leading-edge technology to improve the quality and execution of important research initiatives, Adam left Monash University to establish Research Path. Research Path has grown to become Australia’s leading provider of software for adaptive and platform trials.
History
Research Path Pty Ltd established.
ATACAS Trial goes live (first project as Research Path Pty Ltd)
The first version of the current platform was developed, with a strong emphasis on visual design and ease of use for sites. 2013 is also when Lexi Randall-L'Estrange joined the business, bringing a focus to project and business management.
Work commenced on our first adaptive platform trial - BEAT CF which went live in 2020.
PRMS - Platform (ePROMS) product goes live.
Achieved ISO27001 (Information Security) certification.

Operations Director
Lexi Randall-L'Estrange
Lexi joined the business in 2013 and brings expertise in project and business management, as well as a passion for partnerships. Her role includes oversight of finance, contracts, compliance, as well as technical project management. Outside of work Lexi has a number of Non-Executive Director roles for public sector and charity organisations where she contributes her strategy and risk management experience, and the emerging field of wellbeing economics.

Adam Meehan
Adam has been developing software since high school and has worked in clinical data management and software development since 1999 where he started his career as the Data Manager and Software Developer for AusDiab national diabetes study. He has extensive experience in developing web-based eCRFs and customised software for clinical and epidemiology research groups. A background in research and software development enables him to understand the special needs of research teams, and translate them into technical solutions, while avoiding the technical jargon.
