PADDI Trial recruits first patient

Congratulations to the PADDI Trial team for recruiting their first patient today at The Alfred Hospital.

PADDI (Perioperative ADministration of Dexamethasone and Infection) Trial aims to definitely establish the safety profile of dexamethasone in the perioperative setting with the primary outcome being surgical site infection within 30 days. It will recruit 8800 patients internationally.
